WMF – We Make Future, always committed to exploring the developments and the ethical, social, and business implications of Artificial Intelligence, is organizing the third edition of AI Festival – the International Festival dedicated to Artificial Intelligence, on January 21–22, 2026, in Milan.
With over 10,000 attendees, the previous edition was a resounding success: professionals, companies, startups, and stakeholders came together to discuss and delve into the revolution brought about by AI — not only in business, but also in the political, social, and labor spheres.
There were 14 active training stages, where speakers and experts from around the world shared insights and knowledge on AI, with a focus on industries particularly impacted by it, such as martech, health, education, work, space economy, logistics, culture, creativity, and more.
Business opportunities were at the heart of the event, with B2B meetings, business matching, job placement initiatives, and exclusive networking events. Innovative AI-themed startups also played a key role, featured in an international competition, alongside presentations of robotics prototypes, solutions, tools, and software in the exhibition area.
Finally, special guests — representatives of international brands and institutions — took the stage in the Plenary Hall, offering a journey through the present and future of AI.

Thanks to the collaboration between WMF, the Tecnopolo di Bologna, and the Metropolitan City of Bologna, the best startups will have the opportunity to access the spaces of the Tecnopolo, home to the Leonardo Supercomputer.

With the support of ICE - the Agency for the promotion abroad and internationalization of Italian companies, the WMF-branded event "AI for Future" will be held in March 2026 in San Francisco. Startups, Companies, Investors, and professionals from the world of artificial intelligence will meet to engage in panels with international investors and VCs, training speeches, and top-level dissemination. An AI Startup Competition will also take place, featuring a face-off between 4 Italian startups and 4 US startups.
