WMF - We Make Future, always engaged with the developments and ethical, social, and business implications of Artificial Intelligence, is organizing the second edition of AI Festival - the first International Festival dedicated to Artificial Intelligence, on February 26 and 27, 2025, in Milan.
After the 6,000 attendees in 2024, the two-day event returns, bringing together professionals, companies, startups, and stakeholders to discuss and delve into the revolution brought by AI, not only in daily life but also in political, social, and work environments.
Educational Stages will be active, where speakers and experts from around the world will share skills and analyses on AI, with a focus on industries particularly impacted such as martech, health, education, work, space economy, logistics, culture, creativity, and much more. Central to the event will be business opportunities with B2B meetings, business matching, job placement, and exclusive networking events. There will also be innovative AI-themed startups, starring in an international competition, and presentations of robotics prototypes, solutions, tools, and software in the exhibition area. Finally, there will be room for prominent guests, representatives of international brands, and institutions in the Main Hall, for a journey between the present and future of AI.
The 2025 edition is scheduled for February 26 and 27 in Milan, at the Bocconi University - Roentgen Building.

WMF - We Make Future participated at CES in Las Vegas, the world's most important technology event, which took place from January 7th to 10th, 2025.
Within the Italian Pavilion, organized by the Italian Trade Agency and Area Science Park, WMF represented Italian innovation, strengthening its role as an international platform and accelerator of connections between global innovation ecosystems. This has been the ideal opportunity to introduce "WMF For AI 2025."
With the support of ICE - the Italian Trade Agency, on March 17th and 18th, at Innovit's San Francisco spaces, Startups, Companies, Investors, and Artificial Intelligence professionals will gather. The event will feature panels with international investors and venture capitalists, high-level educational and informative speeches, and an AI Startup Competition between 8 startups: 4 Italian and 4 Americans.
The startup competition focuses on AI applications addressing WMF's 12 future challenges. Six finalists will compete in the final at AI Festival (Milan, February 26-27), while 30 other startups will gain access to WMF 2025 (June 4-6, BolognaFiere) to engage with the global ecosystem. Thanks to the collaboration between WMF, Tecnopolo Bologna, and the Metropolitan City of Bologna, the top startups will have the opportunity to access the facilities of Tecnopolo, home to the Leonardo Supercomputer.
The WMF hosts the AI Global Summit, the premier international event dedicated to Artificial Intelligence. The event offers training courses on AI and its ethical and business applications. On the main stage, exceptional guests, experts, and companies from around the world share their experiences and perspectives on AI development. The exhibition area features B2B meetings, innovative tools and software, as well as advanced technology prototypes and robotics.
A significant novelty within the AI For Future Startup Call is the collaboration between WMF, the Bologna Tecnopolo (Technology Park), and the Metropolitan City of Bologna. Thanks to this synergy, the best startups will have the opportunity to be selected to access the spaces of the Technology Park, home to the Leonardo Supercomputer, opening up new frontiers for advanced research and technological innovation.
